Abstract
This paper focuses on the implementation of a testbed for the evaluation of content distribution systems using LL-DASH (Low Latency DASH) with devices that provide real-time sources using RTSP or SRT protocols, widely used by IP cameras or production systems such as OBS Studio or vMix. The objective is to document the necessary processes in detail for reproducibility in future low-latency research, and to minimize end-to-end delay to values in the order of 2 seconds or less. The implementation uses FFmpeg, Dash.js, Shaka-Player, and a Python web server with LL-DASH support to optimize delay.
