Abstract

The project consists of designing and developing a mobile reading application with the aim of restoring the pleasure of reading, avoiding the pressure, comparison, and competition associated with many current platforms. In the first phase, a market analysis is carried out to identify how other applications promote an unhealthy relationship with reading, influenced by the rise of social media, observing their shortcomings and using them as an opportunity to shift this perspective toward a well-being-oriented experience. Subsequently, the design and implementation process of the application is undertaken. The project uses full-stack JavaScript, SaaS services for its deployment, and AI for certain specific features.
